If you have any questions or concerns about your results or your personal Results Report, you have access to our 24/7 GP Helpline for a full year after your private health check with the Core Package and the Complete Package. You can also take your results to your own GP to have on your personal record.

During your health check, a trained phlebotomist will carry out your test, usually taking around 30 minutes to complete. There are no invasive procedures and no need to get undressed. All health checks require a simple blood withdrawal, and depending on the health check you choose, you will also have physical checks, such as a lung function check and an ECG heart rhythm check.

Your personalised results report will highlight if a test result shows an area of concern and provide recommendations for any next steps needed. If there are any critical results discovered by our laboratory who analyse your samples we will contact you immediately, so you won’t need to wait for your full results report to arrive to take appropriate action. No. You can continue to eat and drink normally before your health assessment, but full preparation instructions will be provided in writing when you book your appointment.

If you choose additional individual tests as add-ons to your health assessment package there may be specific preparation requirements. You will be informed of this when you book your tests.

You’re not required to fast before most blood tests, however, for certain blood tests such as a ‘Hba1c’ (Test for diabetes), you may get more accurate results if you do.

If you have been recommended to fast by a healthcare professional then we would suggest you follow this advice. If you wish to fast before your appointment, do not eat anything for 8-12 hours before your blood test and only drink water during this time. If you have a pre-existing health condition or take regular medications always get advice from your doctor before fasting or discontinuing medications.

Supplements may have an impact on the results shown depending on the specific test and its relevance to the supplements. For example, iron supplements can lead to positive results for an iron blood test, so these should be stopped at least 48 hours prior to testing.

All of our tests and health assessments are carried out by trained phlebotomists in one of our clinics or venues across the UK. We only carry out in-person tests with one of our medically trained phlebotomists, as this guarantees the accuracy of your testing and the results it produces.

Home testing kits tend to have a lower accuracy rate as they depend on your ability to take a correct sample. Carrying out testing at one of our conveniently located venues enables us to get your samples to the laboratory for testing quickly, which not only guarantees the integrity of the sample but also gives you results faster.

Your results will be available 24/7 through ‘My Wellness’, our online dashboard and app. You will receive an email notification as soon as your results are available. Processing times vary by test, with some results accessible on the dashboard in as little as three days. The online dashboard also provides easy access to a downloadable PDF, making it simple to share your results with your GP. If any concerning results are found while we're processing your samples, we'll call you straight away so you can take appropriate action.
