What does the Male Hormone Profile Include?

Your male hormone profile is a panel of bloods tests which measures the levels of seven hormones and male sex hormones (androgens) in the blood including testosterone, luteinizing hormone, DHEA-S, oestradiol, sex hormone binding globulin, follicle stimulating hormone and prolactin. Androgens are responsible for the development of male sexual characteristics, and in adult males are required for normal reproductive and sexual function.

What does the Advanced Menopause Profile Include?

This comprehensive profile includes key assessments for Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Oestrodiol, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), Testosterone, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). The profile offers an insight of hormonal changes to help determine if you are experiencing perimenopause or the menopause. It can also assist in planning and adjusting hormone replacement therapy (HRT) tailored to your needs. The results should be considered alongside your symptoms and discussed with a GP to address any menopause-related concerns.

    Your results will be available 24/7 through our online dashboard, My Wellness. You will receive an email notification as soon as your results are ready for viewing. Processing times vary by test, with some results accessible on the dashboard in as little as three days. The online dashboard also provides easy access to a downloadable PDF, making it simple to share your results with your GP.

Your Results Report (available in the My Wellness dashboard and App) explains each one of your test results in detail, with no medical jargon. As well as giving the actual reading for every test we've run, each result is given a 'flag' of green, amber or red. Green results are within the recommended range for your age and sex; amber results are a little outside what we'd normally expect; and red results are further outside the norm. Where a result is amber or red, we'll give follow up advice on what to do next - whether that's making lifestyle changes, simply monitoring the result, or visiting your GP for further investigation.
