Bluecrest uses the very latest mobile health check equipment at our network of hotel conference centres across the UK and Ireland. The venues have been chosen based on their convenient locations, comfortable surroundings, accessibility, parking and great transport links. All venues are regularly quality checked by our Events team and Health Assessment Specialists to ensure they meet our high standards. We find our customers really benefit from relaxed, friendly, private and comfortable surroundings. We only use high quality, private locations. And since we don’t have the same overheads associated with running our own private hospital, we’re able to pass our savings on to you by offering affordable health checks without compromising on clinical accuracy.

No, our health checks are all non-invasive, and most just require a couple of small blood samples and a few key body measurements. If your package includes a body composition scan, you will be asked to take off your shoes and socks, but full preparation instructions will be provided when you book your appointment.

The NHS doesn’t normally offer tests like ours unless you display symptoms. The NHS does have a screening programme in place to screen for certain illnesses in people of certain ages. However, the NHS does not normally offer such a range of comprehensive tests complete with a detailed personalised results report.

If there are any critical results discovered by our laboratory who analyse your samples we will contact you immediately, so you won’t need to wait for your full results report to arrive to take appropriate action.

We have upgraded our range of tests so you can continue to eat and drink normally before your assessment takes place, but full preparation instructions will be provided in writing when you book your appointment.

Bluecrest have performed over 560,000 health checks since 2012 with 4/5 customers saying they would recommend us with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 54. You can read customer feedback on our Trustpilot page. All health assessments are performed by a Health Assessment Specialist with your samples analysed by a UKAS (UK Accreditation Service) laboratory in the UK. The UKAS provides accreditation to the internationally recognised ISO 15189 Medical Laboratories: Requirements for Quality and Competence standard. Results are subjected to strict internal and external quality control.

Regular health checks can help you proactively monitor and improve your health. We recommend you have a full health check at least once a year to keep on top of your health and to check for any important changes in any of your previous results.

Your blood samples and other readings will be analysed by one of the leading laboratories in the UK which we have established partnerships with. Once they have analysed your samples and readings, your test results are sent securely to our in-house Results team who compile your personalised Results Report.

Our friendly Health Assessment Specialists are fully trained in Phlebotomy (blood-taking), and will take some key measurements and a couple of small blood samples during your appointment. Our team have varying backgrounds in the health and wellbeing sector. Some are trained Nurses, whilst others hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in subjects including Sports Science, Fitness, Nutrition, Dietetics, Physiology and Physiotherapy.

Depending on the tests or package you’ve chosen, your appointment will take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.

All our packages come with access to a free 24/7 GP helpline, which you can use for general health advice for a full year after your appointment. Whilst doctors won’t have your report to hand, this service is intended to provide 24-hour support for all manner of general health issues from tummy upsets to travel advice. Please note this service does not qualify you for a Private GP Consultation - this is a separate service included in our premium packages. The Private GP Consultation takes place via phone or webcam once you’ve received your full Results Report.

Please contact us as soon as possible on 0800 652 2183 so that we may allocate your appointment to another customer. We will be able to rearrange your appointment for another date and time at no extra cost.

For health and safety reasons, please don't bring children with you to your health check. If you'd like to bring a friend or family member to accompany you, or you'd like a Bluecrest chaperone, please call us on 0800 652 2183 or email enquiries@bluecresthealth.com so that we can arrange this.
