CBT or Dietitian or Physiotherapist or GP
After you have received your results report, you will have a private consultation with a member of our MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team). The type of MDT service you receive will be based on your test results to ensure you are getting the support that’s best for you. You’ll be referred to one of the following team:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a type of therapy designed to help you manage your problems by changing how you think and behave. Your CBT session will take place over the phone – what you talk about with your therapist will be completely confidential. CBT can help people with anxiety, depression, and a range of other mental and physical health problems.
Dietitian
Dietitians provide general health advice, as well as helping devise healthy eating plans based on an individual’s health and lifestyle. Your dietitian will ask you to keep a food diary for a week, using a free App, and will keep in touch via the App to help you alter your diet to suit your health needs.
Physiotherapist
Physiotherapists can help people with a wide range of aches and pains. It’s particularly helpful for people with bone, joint, and soft tissues problems. These problems can include sports injuries as well as back, neck and shoulder pain. Your physiotherapist will put together a tailored plan, including simple exercises you can do at home, to help your areas of concern. You will also receive access to a portal which is full of information, infographs and instructional videos.
Private GP consultation
Your GP consultation can take place via phone of webcam. The GP will have access to a copy of your results, so he or she will be able to give advice and highlight any areas of concern. Where appropriate, our GP can also give advice on how you can improve any amber or red flags in your results.
