Our experienced phlebotomists are fully trained in Phlebotomy (blood-taking) and will take some key measurements and a couple of small blood samples during your appointment.

If you have any questions or concerns about your results or your personal Results Report, you have access to our 24/7 GP Helpline for a full year after your private health check with the Core Package and the Complete Package. You can also take your results to your own GP to have on your personal record.

Regular health checks can help you proactively monitor and improve your health. We recommend you have a full health check regularly to keep on top of your health and to check for any important changes in any of your previous results.

No, our private health checks are non-invasive, and most just require a couple of small blood samples and a few key body measurements. If your package includes a body composition scan, you will be asked to take off your shoes and socks, but full preparation instructions will be provided when you book your appointment.

No. You can continue to eat and drink normally before your health assessment, but full preparation instructions will be provided in writing when you book your appointment.

If you choose additional individual tests as add-ons to your health assessment package there may be specific preparation requirements. You will be informed of this when you book your tests.

You’re not required to fast before most blood tests, however, for certain blood tests such as a ‘Hba1c’ (Test for diabetes), you may get more accurate results if you do.

If you have been recommended to fast by a healthcare professional then we would suggest you follow this advice. If you wish to fast before your appointment, do not eat anything for 8-12 hours before your blood test and only drink water during this time. If you have a pre-existing health condition or take regular medications always get advice from your doctor before fasting or discontinuing medications.

All of our tests and health assessments are carried out by trained phlebotomists in one of our clinics or venues across the UK. We only carry out in-person tests with one of our medically trained phlebotomists, as this guarantees the accuracy of your testing and the results it produces.

Home testing kits tend to have a lower accuracy rate as they depend on your ability to take a correct sample. Carrying out testing at one of our conveniently located venues enables us to get your samples to the laboratory for testing quickly, which not only guarantees the integrity of the sample but also gives you results faster.

If you carry out a full health assessment your personalised digital Results Report will be sent to you within 8 days of your appointment. If there are any critical results discovered by our laboratory, we will contact you immediately, so you won’t need to wait for your full Results Report to arrive to take appropriate action.
