Our Advanced Menopause Hormone Profile offers a comprehensive assessment to identify menopause, with a simple blood test which analyses 5 key hormones.

This broader analysis provides a more complete picture of hormone balance, making it especially valuable for women who want detailed insights, whether they are considering hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or are already on it.

What is included in this

package?

Please check below to see exactly what is included in this package:

FSH plays a crucial role in women by promoting egg growth in the ovaries each month and stimulating the production of oestrogen. As a woman approaches menopause, her body gradually stops producing eggs, causing FSH levels to rise. Elevated FSH levels can therefore be an indicator of the onset of menopause, reflecting reduced ovarian function and declining oestrogen production.
This is a carrier protein produced by the liver. Changes in SHGB levels can affect the amount of testosterone that is available to be used by the body. Abnormal SHBG levels can cause mood swings, weight gain, low sex drive and infertility.
TSH, also known as thyrotropin, is a hormone produced in the pituitary gland that triggers your thyroid gland to produce and release hormones. Your thyroid gland is an important endocrine gland responsible for producing and releasing the hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).
Oestradiol is the main naturally occurring oestrogen in your body. Together with regulating the reproductive system and secondary female characteristics, it also has an impact on the health of other tissues and organs including bone, liver, fat and the brain.
Women have lower levels of testosterone in their blood to help maintain hormone balance and regulate other body functions. This test can detect abnormally high or low testosterone levels, which may indicate an adrenal problem. It can also be used to monitor your health if you have had abnormal testosterone results in the past or are taking medications that may affect your testosterone levels.
After your employee receives their results report, they can book a Private GP Consultation (which takes place over phone or webcam) at a time and date convenient to them. The GP will have a copy of the full results report, allowing them to talk through any areas of concern with a medical expert.
